Went in for an early appointment (I thought I just was going to get blood work done) because I recently had a miscarriage. The sonogram tech measured me at 6 weeks 2 days. She pointed to the baby and gave me a due date of December 20th. Then the doctor came in and proceeded to tell me about my options for having a miscarriage. She was pushing D&C; and they even called after I left the office to schedule it for tomorrow... but yet the tech wasn't concerned about no heartbeat and told me to come back in a week for another ultrasound. No blood work was done. I'm holding off on a D&C; in hopes that maybe there will be a heartbeat next week. Any advice. Should I see a new practice?
