TTC WITH IUI

So after 6 months of TTC with no luck my husband and I decided to see a fertility specialist. Yesterday, I went and met with him. We discussed IUI, IVF and he did an ultrasound. I found out that I have 4 follicles on each ovary and the doctor stated that for my age (42) this is consistent.

The doctor stated that IUI is probably not going to work and that I should go with IVF. I am at this point extremely upset and depressed. After I got home my husband and I discussed this and we (as I already knew) can't afford IVF, so my husband and I decided to try IUI. I called the doctor today and informed them and I have been put on Clomid for 5 days and have an ultrasound scheduled for next week then we will do the injection. I was hoping to get some

positive stories from you lovely ladies that can encourage me a bit and am hoping that someone out there went thru this same thing and it worked for them. I need all the prayers and baby dust sent my way PLEASE. I thank everyone of you that took the time read this post and to comment.
