I bought a Pack N Play, but I feel that I don't want to use the napper it comes with for nighttime. The part of the Pack N Play where the baby can sleep (firm surface roughly 6-10 inches from the top; has a dark grey sheet in the picture) has a changing table over half of it. The changing table is removable (does not flip to the side unfortunately), but I feel it would be convenient for me to keep it there while the baby is small enough for it not to be hovering directly above him. I don't see a hazard here, but maybe someone can tell me whether this seems safe. This would allow me to quickly change him, but I don't want to create an unsafe environment.
