How close are u with your in-laws?

I'll say im pretty close with my in-laws

I keep my MIL at an arms Length. Too manipulative, demanding & an outright bully if you don’t do what she wants. She will then continue to throw a tantrum like a fucking child by slamming doors, stomping her feet etc.
So.... later bitch!  She’s done & said too many things to either my hubby or myself over the last 9 years, so I figured that the less time we spend together, the better. 
She lives 5 mins away & we see her less then my family who live 1.5hrs away.

My in-laws are overbearing and try way too hard to force a relationship and it pushes me away. Even though my  husband is only 4 years older than me (I'm 24, he's 28), they treat me like a child sometimes. They can just be so annoying.

I’m very close with my husband’s mom/step dad, not at all with his dad/step mom

My MIL is one of my best friends. We are so close and I can talk to her about anything. When I was first dating my husband he felt overwhelmed about his feelings and ended up breaking up with me, but told his mom I was the one. I continued to go to lunches and on weekend shopping trips with her, and she worked her magic to make him realize it didn’t make sense to break up with someone because you love them so much you’re scared lol. I know I’m so blessed with her.
