Pumping stash?

How many oz did y'all have frozen at 1 month? I only have about 200 oz and I've been pumping for 2 weeks and I was told it's not enough. I nurse and pump.

what do you need the stash for? I didn't start pumping and building a stash until my baby was almost 3 months old and I went back to work when she was four months old. I still have almost all of the milk from the freezer because she takes the fresh milk I bring home from pumping at work. 200oz sounds like a lot to me!

I currently have 1,200 oz frozen! I am an oversupplier. My baby is 1 month. I can freeze at least 40 plus oz a day plus have 30 oz in the fridge to feed for the day. I never thought I could do it, but I look forward to keeping it up to help other mamas.

I saved up 200 ounces in the first 6 weeks in my deep freezer. It literally lasted me until my daughter was 11 months old. I’m rarely away from her. That’s a big amount for a freezer stash! Good job mama.

If you give LO a bottle because you’re In public or away from her, you’ll need to pump to make up for the bottle to keep your supply consistent and avoid engorgement. I have about 1 days worth of milk in the freezer just in case, but other than that I just pump the bottles need as I need them. The only reason you would need a large stash would be if you were going to be away from your little one an extended time frame where you couldn’t replace the milk with what you were pumping. So unless your going on a week long vacation without LO, I’d stop freezing milk.
