Anyone dab, vape or smoke Marijuana while pregnant!?? It’s the only thing that helps my nausea and gives me an appetite! Overall just makes me feel good and normal !! Anyone else in the situation!?? And I really don’t see it hurting baby .. but give me your facts .. not opinions!

Everything you inhale, eat or drink goes to your baby. It can cause developmental issues. I would never risk it! That baby doesn’t have a say at the moment. You need to give him/her the best possible start in life

I used to smoke everyday and stopped when I though I might be pregnant. It crosses the placenta and does reach your baby. Idk why you’d risk any delay in development for your growing baby since no extensive research has been done but there are studies that point to a delay in brain development. It’s 9 months, not being judgmental but it’s not a very long time for you to give this up. I’m nauseous every single day as well, b6 vitamins help and there are other natural medications if you do some searching online.

Smoking anything while pregnant cuts of oxygen to your baby. You're risking killing your child it's that simple! If you're willing to risk that by all means. Cannabis use while pregnant in general hasn't been researched enough to give a definite answer on whether it is okay or not to use while pregnant. Personally for me I wouldn't just because of that reason alone. There isn't enough research yet and I'm not willing to risk that something could potentially hurt my unborn child.

The fact is the effects of marijuana on a fetus has never been tested so who knows if it’s harmful! Also, marijuana stays in your system for a long time and in your babies system for longer. Once your baby starts making their meconium, the marijuana use with be in their system until birth. Most of the time (especially if they’re suspicious) the hospital will test the meconium to see if there are any trace amounts of drugs in it. They may find it if you smoke while pregnant after about 16 to 20 weeks (when meconium starts to develop) and you’ll have CPS involved. Sometimes they don’t test the baby but it’s not worth the risk. Just stop and make your doctor prescribe a safer medicine. I took Diclegis and it was a night and day difference. You can also try sea bands!

I just wouldn’t risk it.. though marijuana is a plant and it’s natural and all that, it is going directly to your baby as well. A baby who’s body, organs and brain function are developing from scratch. Sure some babies are born and turn out fine by mothers who do much harder drugs/drink/smoke etc. But some aren’t ok. Why would anyone take the chance of your baby having any kind of developmental disabilities or addictions once born. You never know what could happen, and that child’s life can be a lot harder than it needs to be. I just find it irresponsible and selfish.

Have you tried other things to help with the nausea? The evidence is inconclusive, so while there isn’t evidence that it does cause birth defects/long term issues, how would you feel if baby was born with something wrong with them? I’d always feel guilty that it was because of that...but that’s just me

Vaping contains various chemicals that can harm your baby and damage the unborn baby’s nervous system. My gram vapes and Magee hospital told me that i couldn’t be around here pregnant and she shouldn’t do it around even my little child. Marijuana can be laced or grown with chemicals that you don’t know about. You could be unknowingly harming your baby. Not worth the risk. There are so many other ways to manage nausea and appetite loss. I puked daily from 4 weeks to 24 weeks. I drank ginger teas, ate toast, sucked on mints to power through it. I had to force myself to eat. Just think of your baby and what’s best for baby.
