Friendly with ex

So my ex and I broke up two months ago, (long distance) we’ve been friendly and we broke up because he hadn’t the time. I’m always very emotional and blah blah so I’ve had a few melt downs on him about wanting to get back together and all anyway , didn’t message him for a week as he didn’t message me back after something 🤷🏽‍♀️

So last night, he messaged me out the blue and we were really friendly blah blah getting on and all and today kinda melted down on him again saying can He give him a second chance as he said I was a little clingy and all and he said he’d think about it after I kinda was like please think bout it anyway, we kinda ended on have a good afternoon and he said text m later!

Do I text him later?? Do I leave it?? What do I do? I don’t want to f*ck it up and miss a chance but I also don’t want to be clingy and annoying again. We’ve always been close and always end up back to eachother messaging wise as it was long distance.

He’s still got some of my stuff at his place too so have to got to see him sometime to get them back.

Just want some advice on what to do as really I would like to get back with him but obviously he is unsure etc
