6 week ultrasound and no sign of baby.

Went today for my 6 week ultrasound and Dr said no sign of baby but could see the yok sack and placenta. Has this happened to anyone else and still had a positive outcome? I go back next week (7 weeks) to see if anything there. My Dr said I have a 50/50 chance
