Hi everyone,

I have had my Mirena IUD since December 2017 and have been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years.

I had never felt any discomfort during sex with him until a month ago. It felt something like getting stabbed in my uterus or getting the IUD placed.

We stopped and I went to my doctor. She gave me some stuff that could help, i took it and yet today I had the same pains but way more worse than the previous time. Its been a few hours since it happened and I am still in pain.

Has anyone else experienced this with the IUD? I’m going to see my doctor again and I’m probably going to get an ultrasound.
