Hey ladies,

I was admitted into the hospital with a heart rate of 163. I was there for three days and had all kinds of tests done. Thankfully, my heart is in great shape (no clots or abnormalities) and I also do not have a lung/leg clot. I was prescribed metoprolol (25 mg twice daily) and discharged. Doctors don’t have an explanation for it and just said it’s one of those weird pregnancy things that happen to some people.

Has anyone gone through this? The metoprolol doesn’t really seem like it’s working (my heart rate shot up to 160 an hour ago). Were you able to control the tachycardia with bets blockers? Any complications with natural birth? Postpartum issues?
