Anyone else regretting the name you picked for your kid?

We picked Ella Nicole for our daughter last minute because the birth certificate people kept harassing us. My husband loves it. Me, not so much. She just totally doesn't feel like an Ella to me, 7 weeks later. I thought it would take some getting used to but I hate it more and more. But I'm not about to go and pay all of the legal fees to change a name. Sigh.

Same story here, my daughter was born 3 weeks before and I felt a little pressure on choosing the name. I regretted it for a while, but now she is almost 2 and I think it suits her. :)

Named my daughter after someone and now I basically can't stand her

With my first, I wasn’t sure about her name and wondered constantly if it was right. Two years later and it truly does suit her and I couldn’t love it more. For me I think it was more about being uncertain in general about naming a human - after all it’s something she would have her entire life. it was daunting!
