Hi ladies, my c section was 11 days ago and I'm having a hard time getting off my pain meds. Starting a few days ago, I've reduced to half a pill during the day and 1 full pill at night and have tried taking every 6 hours instead of every 4. I'm doing okay with it and am now trying to push to half a pill every 8 hours. My incision will get sore but nothing intolerable, but what's worse is I get terrible withdrawal symptoms....my entire body aches from head to toe, bad headache, and flu like chills. It gets so bad I can't function and I'll start crying, not from incision pain but withdrawal symptoms! If I then take another half a pill, I feel much better within a half hour. I have 4 kids so I can't be laying around crying from withdrawal symptoms. I'm trying slow withdraw but can't seem to get past the 6 hour mark without it. Anyone else been through this? Advice?
