Do you ladies have a BP cuff?

Question

I know blood pressure says a lot in the third trimester, do you ladies check your BP daily or weekly when you don’t have a doctors appt? Or should I just not worry about it? So far my BP has been normal at my appts, no gestational diabetes. Thanks!

I do, but only because I had pre eclampsia with my last two pregnancies. 37+4 with our third right now and bp has been perfect! The one I bought was about $40 at Wal Mart.

I have one but mostly because it was so low the first trimester and early into the second so I wanted to keep an eye on it!

I do. My blood pressure has been higher this last trimester than it has been my whole life. I try to keep an eye on it because of my family history with high bp. The dr still says it isn’t high enough for concern but it’s higher than normal for me.

I sometimes measure it when I'm at a pharmacy or pharmacy section of the grocery store, but my BP has always been pretty low so I never needed to check it regularly.

If you have no reason to think your blood pressure needs to be monitored then I'd think having it checked at appts is enough. 
I had a blood pressure cuff during my second pregnancy because my first resulted in a delivery at 33 weeks because of Preeclampsia. 
This pregnancy I am not as worried because I am on baby Aspirin - I went full term with my second thanks to the aspirin.

I only used one when my BP at appointments was always a bit high but I had always previously had low BP. so I took it at home every day which showed I just had high BP because of the office/language factors (speaking my fifth language at doctor's appointments can be stressful)
