I'm high risk this pregnancy due to a past pulmonary embolism last year and have to take lovenox injections to be cautious in case of clots during pregnancy. My regular OB has been seeking me so far and is sending a referral to a High risk OB.. he made it sound like I may be seeing him and the high risk dr regularly? or would I only see the high risk dr? last year I had a pregnancy that ended in miscarriage at 10 weeks, they had started the referral to high risk before the loss and the only thing the high risk had done at that point was schedule an ultrasound at 20 weeks but no appointments to see me. I'll ask my dr next visit but just curious what to expect on how many doctors I'll be seeing and such. I already see my OB and my hematologist regularly.
