5 weeks and 4 days pregnant and Bleeding after pap smear

Hi! Is there any mama out there that experienced bleeding after pap smear? I am 5 weeks 4 days pregnant and today I see my Obygyne, I wasn’t sure if they did pap smear but they did swab me down there and it almost the same procedure as pap smear.. The PA told me that I might have some spotting when I get home and don’t worry about it because it is normal, they actually gave me a sanitary pad to use after the procedure just incase I bleed on my way home.. They also said that spotting/bleeding could also happen after sex with your partner.. Anyways, it has been 10 hrs and I just found out that I am bleeding more than just spotting. I dont have any cramps or any pain just bleeding when I use the bathroom and wipes.. I would like to think that this is normal as I was told that it could happen but if there is any mom out there that have the same experience, pls let me know that it is really Ok. Thank you.
