rash?

Before I start out, I just want to say I HAVE TAKEN HIM TO THE DOCTOR FOR THIS. I'm not asking for a diagnosis, just wondering if someone else had a child who had the same problem and what caused their problem/what helped it. My 4 month old baby boy has terrible eczema, on Sunday afternoon I noticed he was getting these bumps on his skin only where his rash was.

Immidiately my husband and I both thought it was the beginning of chicken pox. I called the after hours nurse at his pediatrician and they asked questions about it and told me to call his Dr first thing Monday morning to get him checked. His Dr walked in the room, took one glance at him and goes "that definitely is not chicken pox". Then proceeds to tell me it could be a breakout from him eczema being so bad since it's only in spots where his eczema is, or what we thought could be eczema could just be a viral infection and it's getting worse now. Meanwhile....I've been to different drs in the past 2 weeks about his "eczema". This was the first Dr to actually prescribe him something to try and cure his rash instead of just telling me to "moisturize and keep cool". She gave me some nystatin cream mixed with a low doseage steroid and told me to apply it twice a day and come back Thursday or Friday to see if there was progress, if not then he would have to go to a specialist. Well, I used the cream she gave me last night for the first time and when he woke up this morning this is now what his rash

I'm really worried because, while the "eczema" rash is gone, the dots seem to of gotten even worse! Anyone else have this problem?
