Is 16 too young to be excited about a future with my boyfriend?

We’ve been together for a year now, and there is a lot of stigma on young people in relationships saying that they will never last, but I truly want a future with my boyfriend, I can imagine walking down the aisle to see him at the end and buying our first house and watching our children take their first steps.

Of course, it’s not set in stone and I know that anything can happen but I just can’t wait to grow old with him but I’m scared with what everyone says about young love that it won’t work out but I couldn’t imagine my life without him and I couldn’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else.
