Saw the dietician today

They told me I actually wasn’t eating enough. The last 2 weeks since I was diagnosed with GD I’ve been really watching my carbs. I guess I’ve been restricting too much and I’m supposed to be having more! I’m nervous because my blood sugars have been fine post meals and now I’m worried they won’t be once I start eating more.

Don’t get me wrong, I want whatever is best for my baby. My diet before I was diagnosed is basically what they want me at now so I know my baby has been getting what she needs. I’m just nervous about needing insulin.

Any advice or insight?
