gender reveal ideas?

So I will hopefully be finding out the gender on May 22nd, we are very broke but wanna do a creative idea to tell everyone. Anybody have any good ideas?? :)

Something cheap. It'll cost $5-$7 
Go to dollar tree get some silly spray string and give a can to the grandparents-to-be and you and your SO take a can do a 5 countdown and everyone sprays. Ta-da, lol

Between $5-$8
Get a black balloon,  blow it up and then fill with confetti. Let SO pop it.

I had did a cake reveal but people been grinding up chalk and putting it inside a ball so it can open when you hit it with a baseball bat. they are also blowing up balloon and putting one color in each balloon as the same color besides the color of your baby gender. they throw darts to pop them.
