Ingrown toenail and pregnant?

To start I’m 37 weeks pregnant. My feet have been swollen because of pregnancy, but today I noticed my big toe seems to be swollen and has some pus. I plan on going to urgent care tomorrow, but should I call my OB first or just go to my ob and not urgent care?

ob would only be for the baby and your health not for a toe. I put peroxide on when I have one it went away in a few days

You don’t need to go to urgent care for an ingrown toenail. I was the medical assistant for a podiatry surgeon. When the nail is infected and has puss, soaking it three times a day for 10 minutes in an Epsom salt bath draws out the infection.
You will obviously still have the ingrowin nail. A simple trip to the podiatrist is needed. They will get in and clip it properly. PLEASE do not attempt to clip it at home. You will open a wound which can get infected even worse
