2 week old to beach too soon?

It’s going to be 80 degrees today and I’ve been sooooo ready to get out of the house into the sunshine and fresh air. Is two weeks too soon to bring him to the beach? I plan on having an umbrella to keep him shaded and having a small fan for him. I know not to put sunscreen on him but is there anything else I should bring to make this work?

i think it's fine as long and there isnt any direct sun. I used a cup of ice to rub on my babys head or arms just to keep him a little bit cooler. baby is still too small to regulate temperature so just keep an eye out for overheating.

I would ask your doctor however that being said were are planning a beach vacation for when baby is 4 weeks old. 🤷🏼‍♀️ so to each their own I guess.

Do not let anyone tell you what to do unless it’s your doctor. It’s good to have babies outside for a little bit. I would just make sure Th baby does not get too hot and to not stay out long. After all, germs are inside more-so than outside! So Th only cause for concern is the sun and heat. We are going to take our baby to the beach in July, and we haven’t had her yet. She will be here within the next two weeks

If you can do it, I say go for it. Just keep him away from people, I’m betting he’s not vaccinated. I struggle with this one, I wanted to take my 7 week old to my brothers graduation, but ... too many people.

I would, personal preference. i had my 3rd at the state fair at 2 weeks old
