Guys I’ve been dealing with a group of snotty super self entitled 7th graders for the past two months. They’ve increasingly gotten worse and worse. And I’m at the end of wits here. I’ve gotten the principle and their parents involved and behavior hasn’t changed at all. I thought that giving them their final grades would help (I teach art at a private school) and nope. Nothing. They all got bad grades for behavior in the class and on their final project and it brought their grades down by ten points.

Nothing is working.

And I started handing back artwork so they can take it all home and two of my students left all of their work here. Even their sketchbooks and supplies.

I told them right before the class left that they need to take everything or it goes in the trash.

The trash it ALL went.

Now I feel horrible and mixed about it all but they are horrible!

If they sign up for next year I’m not allowing them into the class. Art shouldn’t be a dumping ground and these rich kids need to actually put work and have more respect.

Y’all I’m done. I have a 8 month old baby. I came back after maternity leave in December. I’m fucking tired and I have two weeks left.
