Ever since our mother died in 2012 my sister has gotten very depressed pretty much the month leading up to Mother’s Day. I sent her 2 little things from Amazon with a note saying “Happy Mother’s Day! I caught the mouse myself! Love, Beets.” She has a Siamese mix named Beetlejuice (I actually rescued him and brought him to her in Alabama, I live in Florida) and I thought she’d get a kick out this. I’m so freaking excited for her to get it! It’s just a little something silly, but I know how much she’ll appreciate it and I can’t wait to get her text!!
