Why do people think it’s appropriate to respond to a pregnancy announcement with, “I KNEW IT!!”
A) it’s not a compliment
B) just let people enjoy things

Why is that not okay? That is something my best friend would say! We would then laugh about the preminisions she had about it and what signs she picked up on.

I had a friend that was always asking if I was, and would observe my every move like whether I had a drink or not. So annoying!! How about let me share the news if and when I am expecting?

Doesn’t bother me. R u gonna get upset when u announce the gender and people comment I knew it?!? Cuz news flash you’ll get a lot of those lol people have they’re guesses and they enjoy finding out they were right. 
We had an iui and I was very public about our struggle so for some people who followed our progress closely knew around the time I would’ve found out I was prego. We kept it hush hush so ofcourse when we didn’t share any results from our iui (either failed cycle or not) some people started to speculate that it was cuz we had success. Which was true. So I can’t be mad if they said they knew it lol. They prolly did lol

It’s annoying when people try to be know-it-all’s and ruin the “surprise” aspect of it. Like just pretend you’re surprised if you ACTUALLY did expext it.

I only had one person say she knew and it still pisses me off because 1) I wasn’t even pregnant yet 2) she was assuming it based off the way I was eating and 3) she is my bioMIL and I cannot stand her, so pretty much anything she says gets under my skin anyways.
