What are you planning to do with the cord/placenta?

What are you ladies planning on doing with the cord and placenta after birth. please describe... I'm looking for some opinions, reasons, and information. I've read the links glow has about the banking companies but don't have the $ to bank.

I looked into cord blood donation since we can’t afford to bank, but none of the hospitals in my area do it 😞

I’m doing a lotus birth, meaning keeping it attached to my baby until it pumps all of the stem cells and stops contracting and falls off! Then I will plant it in the grown!

There is no benefits in eating your placenta. If anything it’s actually bad for you.

I will have my placenta encapsulated. There is a lot of possible benefits of placenta encapsulation and I am totally willing to try and see if it helps me postpartum. Please just don’t eat the placenta! That is used to trap the toxins from your body from getting to the baby. So you would essentially being eating toxins.
