9 weeks, second pregnancy. Baby moving?

I could have sworn I felt the baby moving yesterday. It was a very distinct feeling. Not gas or anything. Could that actually have been the baby? I felt my 1st at 13 weeks

No. Your baby is still in your pelvis and is still smaller then your pinky. Not possible. It’s just gas.

I read a study by UT Southwestern Med School that stated, despite the small size of the baby, it is possible to feel the baby very early in pregnancy due to the position of the placenta, the amount of fluid around the baby, and the mother’s body mass index. So if you’re a more petite woman with a lot amniotic fluid you could be feeling some baby flutters, based on what I read!
