Divorced with a toddler & newborn

My heart is completely shattered. 6 years of knowing this person, getting treated like complete trash by his family and never hearing him stand up for me, dealing with his alcoholism problems and helping him get off drugs. I think it’s finally time to realize some people can’t and won’t change, not even for their kids. I was only 15 when we met and 18 when I fell pregnant and got married. Now I’m 21 and finally understood that this isn’t ok, I’m mentally drained from this relationship. Unfortunately it took me too long and my two kids are in between all this mess but I hope one day they will understand. My son is 1 1/2 and my daughter is 2 weeks old
