Here are some ACTUAL tips for getting over a heartbreak!
Step One: SELF CARE SIS! take a warm bath with some essential oils, dim the lights light some candles & indulge in your favorite music (NOTHING SAD RN GURL THIS IS UR MENTAL BREAK) also try a face mask & taking some vitamins
Step Two: don’t be afraid to take yourself shopping, money is not what’s important and material things will not mend your heart, but seeing yourself slay will definitely help to boost your mood
Step Three: go for a run/jog/walk in a place that’s nearby but away from your daily routine, take time to look around and soak in nature’s beauty. In time you’ll start to feel in tune with your happy self again.
Step Four: TURN OFF THAT PHONE! go to a movie or the mall do anything but stay out of your bed and off your phone! Dwelling on the past won’t change it! Ignore his calls and posts and the things he still has at your place and go out and show the world that you’re strong and capable of making yourself happy!
Step Five: take a road trip. Go visit family/friends you haven’t seen in awhile and just catch up ( to avoid questions about the person you’re trying to forget maybe contact them beforehand and let them know your in the process of moving on and would respect some space on the topic)
Step Six: clean/rearrange/redecorate. Change up your living space add some spice back into your life while occupying yourself and I’m sure future u will appreciate all the hard work!
