When to put baby in own room?

I'm due in 5 weeks, first time mum. I'm 19 next week, I unfortunately can't ask my mum these questions as she passed away 5 years ago. 
I've just seen a post on here to do with "kicking your baby out early". My original plan was to put my baby girl straight into her own room, her room is right next to mine. A few friends of mine have disagreed. And seeing most women on this other post didn't put there baby in there own room until 6+ months. 
Should I have baby in my room for the first 6 months or? I don't wanna be a bad mum & its definitely not easy having my mum give me no advice. I don't want any hate, just advice please ladies..

I think keeping baby next to your bed is important during the first few months for bonding between mother and child as well as nursing if you intend to or feeding in general. I would suggest perhaps putting your baby for naps in their own room so they are used to it when the time comes. In any case, you're the mama and you have to do what you're comfortable and what is safest/best for baby with no matter what anyone else says ❤️

It's mainly what you feel comfortable doing. There are several studies that encourage sharing a room until age 1 to reduce SIDS risk. I also know that's not feasible or preferable for some mamas. See how you feel when baby gets here and trust your instincts.

Babies can die from SIDS up to a year old so ill be having my baby in my room till then he will be in a mosses basket next to my bed till 6 months even less if he’s a big baby ahah and then he will be in a cot till 1 in my room

So keep in mind that decisions you make before baby is born you may change once baby is here. 
It’s different for everyone- 
I like to have baby in my room in his/her own sleep space (bassinet, pack n play, arms reach co-sleeper) at first. It’s easier for diaper changes in the night and feedings. However at about 6-8 weeks I am still a light sleeper and baby starts sleeping longer but also grunts and makes noises and I wake up to each and every one. At this point I move baby to their room strictly following safe sleep practices. We also use a video monitor at this time. 
Some moms co- sleep with baby or have baby in their room for 6 months. Some moms put baby in their own room pretty much immediately. It will all depend on what works for you. Things like breastfeeding or bottle feeding will weigh in, will daddy be helping with night feedings? Will it be better for feedings to happen in a separate room so the other can sleep? Think about it and think about what your comfortable with. While asking experienced moms for advice is great don’t let others tell you what you should/shouldn’t do, simply ask what they did and why. 
If SIDS is a concern with baby in his/her room then they make monitors like Owlet that alarms if baby stops breathing. This may give you a better peace of mind.

Our baby stayed in the room with us, in her own pack n play, until she was 5 months. It really made night feedings much easier and I always felt more comfortable knowing she was close so I could soothe her. We didn’t have any issues getting her into her own crib and she now sleeps in her own room 12-14 hours a night. Maybe do some research on SIDS and see what it says based on how you want to parent! Keeping up with SIDS helped me a lot as I was so far from my family and friends and didn’t have anyone to ask, so I kinda just used SIDS as a guidebook for my baby’s safety. SIDS recommends keeping baby in same room as parents until 6 months, but every baby is different and I felt my baby was perfectly capable of sleeping alone at 5 months. So just know everything is just recommendations...you get to make the rules for your baby, mama!

My son will go straight into his own room like my daughter did. 
I didn’t ‘kick her out’, we weighed up our options and felt that would be best for all of us. 
My main reasons were that hubby works with heavy machinery so can’t be tired when he goes to work, and I felt more comfortable/felt it was safer getting up to feed her than bringing her into bed to feed and risk falling asleep with her on me. 
We all slept better having her in her own room. I kept to all the other sids recommendations, but having her in our room wasn’t going to work for us.
Not to mention the countless posts I’ve read from women saying ‘I can’t get my child to sleep in their own cot/own room/our of my bed’!

At 3 months I started putting my son in his own room itbis right next to my room
So I can hear him perfectly. I do still have a bassinet next to my bed for when he has a ruff night. For example he just had a uti and was on antibiotics so he slept with my husband and I until he was feeling better. I think you just need to use your judgement there really is no wrong answer here everyone feels different and what works for you may not work for others and the other way lol

I had my daughter in the same room as us for my own comfort until she was a little over a year. She slept in her rock n play until around 6 months then her crib in our room. She did great once she got her own room!! ❤️cosleeping was something we never did because my daughter always needed her own space 😂 good luck with whatever you decide!
