Which brands do you highly highly recommend? 
A brand preferably of a fair price 😅

I am one of those weird prefolds and covers people who would prefer to use them any day. AIOs and pockets are convenient but they just don't hold it in as well in my opinion, and the dry time is ridiculous! I like thirsties and buttons covers, and my Osocozy prefolds are my favorite. 
My favorite all in ones are Nora's Nursery. They're a little expensive but not as bad as bumgenius. My favorite pocket diapers are Alva's and Mama Koala. Just a heads up, I do not recommend hemp or microfiber inserts out of sheer laziness. Hemp can't be washed with any of your other cloth diaper stuff. It destroys PUL and will keep your other inserts from absorbing. Microfiber can't touch the baby's skin, so you have to wrap it in something else when they wear it. I also think it takes too long to dry.

I use Fuzzibunz with prefold or hemp inserts because they are easier for daycare to use, but I prefer unbleached cotton prefolds (and fitteds for nighttime) with Thirsties covers.

I don't have any anymore, but when I first started, Alvas were the first brand I purchased. My LO was really skinny and long, so they were always too big on him, but they were really well made for cheap diapers. Now that he's chunked up some, I plan to get some just for the prints lol.

I bought Alva AIO from Amazon when they were on sale for under $30. They work great, and aren't too expensive even without a sale.
