Not all of it fell out, but it obviously thinned out. Then it started getting thicker at like 4/5 months

my daughter is 6 weeks old and I've been noticing her hair on the mattress pad of the bassinet right in the spot where she lays. and I can see on the back of her head the hair is starting to thin out.

Yep. He was born with an average amount of hair then went completely bald. It started coming back at six months. He's 17 months now and still doesn't have a ton of hair.

I wouldn’t necessarily say it “fell” out but it definitely got thinner and tends to a few weeks after baby is born. It will grow back with time.
