My breastfeeding mom friends make nasty comments but I shrug it off. Fed is best!

I did. But I also allowed it to bother me. My whole pregnancy I wanted to breastfeed, I even have the pump and the accessories and everything... all sitting in a box unopened for the past 11 months lol. Not breastfeeding is the only thing I regret not doing, but only because I was so adamant on it, and for some unknown reason, when they asked me after my csection I blurted out formula and that was that. While I still regret it, my boy is happy and healthy and hitting milestones before a lot of breastfed babies I know. It still gets to me once in a while, but I try to shrug it off now.

i felt 'pitied'.. if that makes sense. But I duno why they 'pitied' me. I have a perfectly healthy and happy little boy and that's what's important to me.

I feel it doesn't matter how you feed. Everyone lives different lives with different expectations. A fed baby with a comfortable bond with mom is better than physical or mental issues.

I did at first especially when I joined my mothers group and out of 16 babies mine was the only one bottle fed. But after the 2nd catch up I told a few of the girls how I felt and they were so supportive, fed baby is a happy baby (and Mum)
