anxiety and depression during pregnancy?

does anyone know if there are any safe meds for this while pregnant?  I'm so tired of fighting this. I'm so tired of being scared of every little thing. im so tired of waking up wishing I never had. I am a little over 6 weeks with my 3rd and it started when I was pregnant with my 1st four years ago. but I'm just so tired of feeling this way.....

I have been on Escitalopram for years and my doctor had recommended I stay on it. I was on another medication that wasn’t safe for pregnancy so had to go off that but I’m fully doing fine without:) I definitely think you should speak to your doctor!! You could get worse or postnatal depression (something I need to be monitored for) it’s nothing to be ashamed of. I don’t tell anyone about it as I don’t want judgement and obviously I’d like be to not have to take anything while pregnant, but a happy mum will make a happier bub. Yes. I doubled my Zoloft does a few weeks in. My OB was fine with me continuing to take trazadone, but I decided to wean off it. (It puts me hard to sleep, which I love, but I know I won’t be able to take care of baby if I’m unconscious for 7-8 hours.)
Talk to your Dr, there are lots of safe options.

Yes, you can take antidepressants while pregnant.  Talk to your ob.  I was already on one when I first got pregnant, but had to stop because it was making me vomit when paired with the pregnancy hormones.  So my ob prescribed a different one.  So there are options.

Many SSRIs are safe during pregnancy. I take 50 mg of Zoloft each night and it is such a life saver; I’m an anxious mess in normal life, and I’d probably be a pile of mush on the floor during pregnancy without medication. Talk to your OB! Mine was perfectly happy to have me stay on my medication.

My OB put me on Prozac about a month ago and I feel much better.

I'm still taking my anxiety medication (gabapentin) per my doctor's reccomendations. He's also going to start me in depression medication down the road if I need it, which I have with my 3 previous pregnancies. There are definitely safe anti depressants and anti-anxiety medication out there, just talk to your doctor.
