They didn’t for me until I was further dilated before I got my epidural at about 6cm.

I had one my first appointment and was freaking out about it before it happend. All it is it's 2 fingers trying to feel the cervix. it's uncomfortable but not a "I can't stand it" uncomfortable you know? you'll do great!! Don't freak out for no reason ❤

All I felt was my OB stick like 2 fingers in and move it around from side to side. It didn't hurt

Just make sure u relax. Hurts a bit more if you tense up

I didn’t get cervical checks with my second baby  from the Doctor because it was a scheduled c-section but with my first baby it hurt a-lot, i had a-lot of swelling though from high blood pressure .  Buy I had a scare with my second baby and had to get a cervix check in the Labor and delivery, the nurse gave me a tip so it wouldn’t be so uncomfortable. She said to clench your fists and put them under your hips to kinda lift your booty, don’t know  if it makes sense but it did actually help.
