I got called fat earlier at work by a senior.
So today was roasting in my office and my fan broke. I wasn’t able to sit near a window as a senior who isn’t usually in the office chose to sit there this morning and close a window I had already opened.
The day progressed and it got hotter and hotter until in the end, I put the huge fan directly behind this senior colleague on.
After ten minutes, she turned it off and I said “oh I’m so sorry (enter name here) but I put the fan on because I’m boiling! Is it bothering you?”
“Yes that’s why I turned it off, it’s not that hot.”
So I bit my tongue.
After a few hours, she herself turned it on complaining that it was too hot in the office. I said “oh I’m so hot, I feel heavy and exhausted!”
She didn’t say anything.
Bear in mind, this is me at 22 weeks pregnant

Please excuse the mess!
So I am fairly big and I am a little pudgy.
Later on today, I was fanning myself and A different colleague said “oh you poor thing, you must be boiling!”
I replied “yeah I am actually. It’s so hot and I feel so huge, I don’t know how I’ll survive the rest of this pregnancy with this heat!”
The senior sat to my right who btw is skinny as a bean pole said “you’re not even that far into your pregnancy you know. Your baby isn’t even that big.”
I replied “yes I know but I feel huge, I feel really disgusting.”
And she said “well you were big before you got yourself pregnant.”
I am overweight but I was not this big!!!!!! I was absolutely furious. Here’s a picture comparing side by side my stomach when I first found out I was pregnant to 20 weeks pregnant just to show how the BABY has grown...

So... yes I was bigger than the average but really!!?! Who the fuck says that to a pregnant woman?! I was so angry and upset I had to walk away to calm down. I was so mortified because she said it loud enough for another colleague to hear it too!!!
Sorry for the rant, I just needed to get it off my chest.
