How long did you wait to start trying if you had a cesarean with your previous pregnancy/loss?

Today makes 5 months since I lost my daughter full term. It was 2 days before her scheduled cesarean and she was gone.

My doctor originally said wait a year. I had a uterine window that was pretty severe and required a second incision in my uterus in order to stitch it shut.

She’s since said she thinks I will be pregnant sooner. We want to start trying. Anyone been successful? I would need another cesarean (would be my 4th).
