Is it normal for postpartum bleeding to come and go?

I'm about 3 weeks post partum. I stopped bleeding like a week ago and now today I have cramps and am spotting. wth! I know it's normal to bleed for awhile after birth but I thought once it stopped it would stay gone lol. Has anyone else experienced this?

My bleeding was sporadic like that too. In total, it lasted about 6 weeks.

Same thing, I bled for 3 weeks, then stopped for a week, then started again for 2ish weeks. The second round was my first period.

Normal, I’m 3 weeks PP too & I notice the spotting mostly happens while I nurse. My midwife told me it’s normal up to 6 weeks. It’s only a concern if your soaking a pad within an hour.

That's normal. I had heavy bleeding for a day or two, then it stopped completely at about one week postpartum. I'm 3 weeks now and have had some light bloody clearish discharge for a couple of days. Mostly only when I go to the bathroom or after I move around a lot.

Could it be your period? I would say the coming and going of bleeding is normal but along with cramps seems like a period to me.

Sometimes if you do too much physical actually it can make the bleeding some on again.
