First period after giving birth?

I just got my period two days ago (I'll be 6 weeks postpartum monday) I'm bleeding really heavily and have horrendous diahrhea.. normal?

Answer

Your first period after childbirth can be heavy. Even the next two can be heavy as well. I tend to get looser BMs around my period so that’s normal for me. I’m not sure if it’s considered normal but I wouldn’t say it’s abnormal.
