What do you need and when should you pack it?

Answer

Anything you need to make you comfortable. I tend to overpack, as I hate feeling unprepared. I've got clothes for me and baby, about 3 or 4 changes each. Food and swimwear for my husband (he's diabetic and will need to keep an eye on his blood sugar and just in case he hops in the birthing pool with me). A book to read, phone charger, toiletries, nipple cream, a toy for my older child, nursing bras, a couple blankets for baby, nappies for the journey home. And I will add fresh fruit to the bag when I leave. 
I've had my bag ready since about 37 weeks.

For me I have clothes (I hate hospital gowns and I know my hospital will let me wear what I want as soon as she’s out) a toiletries. My husband has clothes, a fitted sheet and pillow. Baby I have 2 outfits and a light swaddle. Naturally, electronic chargers as well. I’m 37 weeks and we just got them together.

for me i only back go home clothes tooth brush toothpaste hair brush pad both up and down one's and phone charger thats it for me
