Anyone else diagnosed with GD? I’m on week two of monitoring my levels and it isn’t as bad as I thought! My biggest challenge are my fasting levels. I was having apples, peanut butter, cheese sticks, & crackers for late night snacks. Nothing seemed to bring my fasting levels down. I read on a few pages that women were eating ice cream and it worked for them. I had a bowl of ice cream with walnuts last night & it brought my levels down pretty low! (My dietician suggested ice cream as well) I actually eat real food during the day just healthier. I have a wicked sweet tooth so I miss having my candy & dessert 🙈😭 so far I’m down 7 pounds by eating small healthy meals throughout the day. 7 weeks to go! I got this 💪🏽
