Maternity photo shoot - is it worth it?

I’m 30+4 today and am wondering about doing a maternity photo shoot. I’m not currently working, as my husband and I just relocated across country so I’m trying to be smart with money. 
Are they really worth it? Or should I save the money for a newborn shoot instead? I feel like once the baby is here I won’t really look at my maternity pics, I’ll be looking at pics of her and all of us. 
Does anyone regret NOT doing it?

I just did them myself and spent zero money on maternity or newborn pics.

I’m not doing it. Some people have beautiful pictures, but I think newborn pictures are much cuter for displaying. I’ll be opting for the pictures after the baby is born.

I’d say do one yourself. Get a nice dress and have your husband take some pictures. It’s better than nothing but at least you’ll have pictures. I do regret not doing any pictures at all. I have like no belly pictures except my weekly ones. But i definitely don’t think it’s worth the $200 to get professional pictures. We did do professional newborn pictures though. My next pregnancy I plan to just get a dress and has my husband take pictures.

I didn't do maternity photos, honesty I think they are super dumb. it's not like I would want those hanging up in my house, I would much rather have baby photos everywhere then of myself.
