Fml. ☹️

My ONLY car, insurance expired 16 days ago and I took my sweet time in switching over to USAA. So of course this happens while I’m uninsured for this short period..

I still owe 7,000 on it, it’s not worth it to fix it, the damage is so severe and it being a Volvo it’ll cost as much/more than I owe to get it running again. I don’t know what to do. Paying out of pocket for a rental. Should I go take on a second loan for a new car or save up 3k for a beater to get my husband to and from (he commutes between 30 min-two hours one way depening on where he works... he’s an iron worker. We need something reliable).
