Ganja makes me lose weight, no question about it. I don't usually get munchies and if I do, I choose something healthy (that's always the case, munchies or not).. more often the herb will make me have the feeling that I want to drink a lot of water and empty out my stomach (go several hours without eating). I think it speeds up your metabolism which is why people get hungry after smoking..
A sect of Hindu monks called Nagas smoke ganja continuously and practice yoga, usually eat very little... they are some of the thinnest (scary thin) people I have ever seen..
I don't think it is the herb that makes people gain weight, it is what they do in conjuction with smoking that will determine that.

I meant to hit no. Depending on the strain it could give you more energy which could motivate people to work out or it could make you tired so you just eat then nap which can cause weight gain. I smoked when I was anorexic so I could eat and gain weight but now I’m over weight and smoke to have motivation to do stuff
