I’m really concerned but my bf doesn’t want to leave he says the baby will be fine that I’m a drama queen. Did anyone raise a baby in a basement

It’s a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen and living room and bathroom.. We’re saving for a house. Rents only 1,000 and we live in his parents basement . It’s beautiful I guess since my daughters been in pre-K she’s had a cough and I thought it was living in the basement but maybe it’s school and I’m just too concerned
