When doing basic shading it’s pretty minimal. However I have a grayscale realism piece that took 3.5 hours and that was by far one of the most painful ones (other than coloring my elbow)

I’m like the others and like being tattooed but I find by the time they get to the shading I’m numb to it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I haaaate shading with a passion. Outlines don’t phase be in the slightest but once they get to shading I can’t wait for it to be over.

Same as the other girls 😂 I find it relaxing.
But I will say shading. Because after about 30-40min of them shading over the same spot again and again and again.. then it starts to hurt. 
My first tattoo it took 45min to become painful (tattoo took an hour total). And my second one took about an hour and a half to start hurting (2 hours total and most of it was outlining)
