i need to vent...

so i work at McDonald's...i use to work at disney but switch to work closer to my family. anyways yesterday a homeless man came in and order a cheeseburger and a cup of water... he look hot and tired. i told him to sit down and we will him his food. we do table service at the McDonald's i work at. i went to grab him his food and a few co-workers looked at him at like he was gross. i only saw a humble man who was hungry and had only 1.10$ to get a dollar cheeseburger and a cup of water. After work he was sitting outside and i can tell that he was still hungry. i had a free frie coupon bc of the app so i went in order a bottle of water got the fries and ordered another cheeseburger. someone asked why i did that. i told them that i wanted to help. they told me...he will be fine...i got so angry. i politely told them i understand where he is coming from. that use to be me as a child. when i was 7 my family was homeless for a while. i lived in a tent for a while. let me tell you. the things in your life can go away at any time. nothing in this world is promised. everyone is equal and that could be you. no one asked to be homeless. it happens and it sucks but if you are able to make a difference even if its the 2.83 i spent... then do it. never judge. always love.
