Is a change table worth it?

I got a dresser with a spot for the changing pad on top. For me that’s more worth it because as they get older you just take off the part that goes around the changing pad and can use it like a normal dresser. 🤷🏼‍♀️

i just got a dresser and put a changing pad with grippers on the bottom of it ontop.  I figured I'd get more long term use out of a dresser than a changing table.

Yes and no. It’s really nice in the beginning since they’re so tiny, but now at 8 months it’s like wrestling an oiled pig. It’s safer to change her on the ground where I just put the pad aside and pull it out to change her. Once I used my legs to hold her in place so I could put her shirt on. I was desperate 🤷🏼‍♀️

We put a changing pad on top of the dresser. That’s worth it because you don’t have to bend over to change a diaper on the floor, the cost is super minimal ($10-$20) and when you’re done you still use the dresser.

I was told to not get one cause I would never use it. I’m so glad I didn’t listen I use it all the time. I also use the lower shelves for storing all of my cloth diapering supplies and wipes!

yes its easier on your back and better when your cleaning up poop i also use it to store all the lotions shampoo ect

I just bought a convertible crib that has a changing table attached. As our daughter grows up her crib goes from a crib, to a day bed, to a toddler bed, then to a full-size bed and the changing table transitions into a nightstand.
