contractions? BH? What's going on..

I'm 39 weeks today and I'm pretty sure I haven't had any contractions or Braxton hicks yet.. last night I woke up at 4am and my lower tummy had a sharp stabbing like pain it kinda felt like a Charlie horse.. it lasted about 1-2 minutes. It got worse when I moved to get up but started to stop when I got to the bathroom.. is this a contraction or Braxton hick? Or something completely different lol my next Dr appt is on Wednesday

Seeing how u are so far along, i would say most likely you had a mild but real contraction. Might not be long before you go into labor😀 If you are worried call your Dr, otherwise let nature take its course! Congrats
