Gift for daycare provider?

Claire

We've decided to switch our LO (8 months) from her current daycare provider (a mother of three older girls who watches our daughter and two other babies in her home, and once a week goes to a group daycare facility for activities) to a larger daycare facility where she'll be in a group of 15 kids the whole week. We hope it's the right decision - we really like our current daycare provider but since we don't have any family in the area and she spends most of the week with just the two other babies at the woman's home, we feel like it'd be more intellectually/socially enriching to have her in a bigger group and a more structured setting. But we've really appreciated all the love and care that our current provider has given her, and we want her to know that we're not switching because we're dissatisfied with her work - we just think the other setup is a better fit, especially for once she starts running around.

Do you guys have any suggestions for a gift to get her (and potentially her three daughters, who also helped out watching the babies) to say thank you? I was thinking maybe tickets to a local amusement park for the family, and a big bouquet of flowers, but if you have any ideas I'd love to hear them. Family tickets for the amusement park would cost around $250 - do you think that's too much? not enough? Thanks in advance.
