I am a stay at home mom of a toddler, my boyfriend has life insurance which would go 50% to me, 25 % to our child and 25% to his other child with someone else. I do get VA disability and I think I remember the VA saying they would cover the costs of my funeral, besides a car loan I don't have any real debt, I have some money in savings, I'm not sure if a life insurance policy would be necessary for me just because my boyfriend is basically the bread winner besides me getting VA disability that pays for my car, car insurance and phone. I want to make sure I'm not missing anything, can anyone give me insight?
